Cricket Coaches

Two teenage brothers have become the latest members of Timsbury Cricket Club to become qualified coaches. Matt and Adam Brinkworth passed the UKCC Level One exam and will become fully involved in the club’s thriving youth section. Matt will continue to look after the under 11s who won their division in the Bath and District Youth League in 2009 while Adam will assist Jez Hare in running the under 13s.

Club Youth co-ordinator Lloyd Davies said, “ We are delighted to have Matt and Adam on board. They are both very enthusiastic about their cricket and it means that we now have a wide range of qualified coaches in the club”.

There will be a registration night at the clubroom on Friday March 5 to meet the youth coaches while indoor nets begin on Thursday March 11.
