Timsbury Ladies Choir
Timsbury Ladies Choir was born on 19th September 1978 in the Tabor Free Methodist Church Schoolroom. Mr. Alec Tucker had been approached by several people and asked to form a Ladies’ Choir for the village. Accepting this as a challenge, he convened an inaugural meeting and was delighted at the response and interest shown. He invited Mrs. Doris Taviner to be the pianist and the first election of officers took place. The introductory concert was held in the Conygre Hall on 19th April 1979. The choir has grown in confidence over the years and made many friends along the way.
