Before the formation of the present theatre group, the W.E.A. (Workers Educational Association) had its own drama group. This photograph (below) shows the company in the period 1930-40.

When “Blythe Spirit” was performed by the theatre group, the opportunity was there for a reunion with the cast of the old W.E.A. who had previously performed the play. This photograph (below) shows that meeting of the two groups.

Timsbury Theatre Group was formed in 1973. Two major productions are staged each year, a pantomime in December and a play in the Spring. Plays cover a variety of genres and authors ranging from Whitehall farce to costume drama.
