Timsbury W.I.

Chocoholics enjoyed Timsbury WI’s first meeting of 2010 at the Conygre Hall when John Gingell gave a talk on the history and making of chocolate. Mr Gingell had worked for Fry’s and then Cadbury’s for many years, and brought samples of chocolate at all stages of production, with opportunities to taste the chocolate at key stages. The fun competition for an item made using chocolate attracted a wide range of entries. First place was awarded to Judith Massey.

Timsbury WI meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Conygre Hall and at the next meeting on March 4 Sue Hunt from Wiltshire Farm Foods will be the speaker. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
